Then She Sees Jesus
The news hit like the impact of a live grenade, knocking her to her knees, leaving her in a pile of devastation. She looks around and can find no comfort.
But then she sees Jesus.
The rejection comes unexpectedly, leaving her wondering why she even tries, why she believes, and why she dares to dream. She looks around and can find no hope.
But then she sees Jesus.
The fear grips her rapid beating heart and she becomes engulfed in a wave of anxiety and breathlessness. She looks around and can find no peace.
But then she sees Jesus.
The storm blows in quickly, raging and relentless, throwing her into a frantic fight to survive. She looks around and can find no relief.
But then she sees Jesus.
The chaos ensues out of nowhere, turning her life upside down, making her feel worthless, useless, and out of control. She looks around and can find no answers.
But then she sees Jesus.
The depression sweeps in like a dark cloud on a sunny day, engulfing her in sadness, unable to feel and unwilling to move. She looks around and can find no joy.
But then she sees Jesus.
My sweet friend, you will face trials and tribulations. You will walk through valleys and fight giants. The darkness is always right there, lurking in the shadows of the Light, waiting to move in and leave you blind and helpless.
But you can see Jesus.
Because He is always there.
Love and hugs,
Kathy
